About Kiram Air
A vet practice that learned to fly.
Kiram Vet Services Ltd has looked after pets in Kampala since 2016. Pet relocation grew out of the clinic—because the families we treated started moving abroad, and nobody wanted to hand their dog to a stranger.

The handover happens at the counter, in front of you—not behind a door. We complete export clearance, present the crate for the airline's own IATA check, top up the water and stay until it is loaded. Then we message you.

How early should I start planning?
Start as early as you can. Many routes need 8–16 weeks for vaccinations, laboratory tests and permit windows. Australia and other complex destinations can take longer.
Will my pet be safe during the flight?
We select pet-friendly routes, fit an IATA-compliant crate and prepare your pet before departure. Airline procedures vary, so we review every connection and seasonal restriction.
Can you help with the travel crate?
Yes. We measure your pet, recommend the correct crate and guide you through positive crate familiarisation before travel day.
What does my pet need before a hotel stay?
Up-to-date vaccinations and recent parasite treatment, plus their usual food and a familiar blanket. Send us their vet records when you book and we’ll tell you if anything is due.
Do you relocate pets into Uganda too?
Yes. We can guide import requirements, arrival handling and onward transport. Share your departure country and preferred date so we can check the route.
